Quick post to let everyone know the details for the Cuchulainn MTB Leagues etc this year.
Separate XC and Enduro Leagues like last year.
Racing will take place as usual on Tuesday evenings (with one additional round running on a Thursday).
Races will be as follows: 2 x Time Trials, 7 XC races, 5 Enduros, 1 x Gerry McCabe Memorial Hillclimb.
XC League to include both Time Trials, Hillclimb and 7 XC Rounds. 10 rounds total.
Enduro League to include both Time Trials and 5 Enduros. 7 rounds total.
All participants will be required to Marshal a round, but can marshal the “other” discipline (XC rider can marshal Enduro and vice -versa)

Tuesday 14 May: XC

Time to get the licenses renewed and get the training miles in!
One final point: We really really need extra help running the leagues this year. Over the past few years it has been the same few people running races week in week out which is not sustainable long term. “Running” a race means picking, preparing and marking out the course beforehand, coordinating the marshals on the evening, and cleaning up the course afterwards.
If you are unsure about any of these individual tasks, help will be given. If we could get even 3 or 4 new people to run races this year this would greatly ease the pressure on the few people who are currently running multiple races every year.
