Each year the members of CuChulainn CC chooses a charity partner. This year the chosen charity is St. Patrick’s Parish Soup Kitchen.

First opened in the late 1990’s, St Patrick’s Soup Kitchen provides hot meals, shelter, company and conversations for those in need, operating from its facility on the left of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Roden Place.

Speaking after the result of the memberships’ selection was announced, Francis Lafferty, Chairman of CuChulainn CC said “this is a really worthwhile charity for the club to get behind in 2025”.

Last year the club’s nominated charity was Louth Disability Cycling Club with €3,250 being raised during the year from events such as the Tour of Louth and the Sarah Fagan’s Women’s Lap of Louth.
